I have a baby bullet and an instant pot.I steam whatever I’m going to purée in the instant pot & and then it purée it once cool. I usually do around a pound to a pound and a half of fruits or veggies. She gets them fresh for 3 days (for lunch or dinner) and then I freeze the rest in 1 oz cube trays.I unthaw two cubes (2 for lunch and 2 for dinner) the night before in a mini mason jar & she eats them like that.

I bake and then puree with a magic bullet. I keep about 2 days worth fresh and freeze the rest in kiinde pouches.

I do both. I keep tons of frozen fruits and veggies on hand as well as fresh. I sometimes batch cook (i.e. if I have a sweet potato I need to do something with I'll cook it and freeze it in 1 oz. portions or I have yogurt that won't get eaten I'll freeze it). But most days I just use our Ninja blender (the individual cup) and do a puree (frozen fruits/veggies) and then either give it to him straight (just the fruit/veggies) or I'll mix it with yogurt or oatmeal or something or I'll just feed him what we're eating (like if I'm having a banana and peanut butter toast for breakfast I'll just give him half of the banana and let him feed himself and I'll cut the PB toast into strips and he'll feed it to himself).

I do big batch. Steam it in the stove or in the microwave in a glass dish, or if it’s sweet potatoes, roast in the oven. Keep 2-3 oz portions fresh for 3 days in the fridge and freeze the rest. I was using ice cube trays to freeze but then she starting resting the equivalent of 4-5 cubes and it was too much work. Instead I got a few trays of a 2.5 oz silicone mold. I don’t fill them all the way so I figure each one is about 2 oz. I defrost the morning of. If I defrost extra, I think it’s fine in the fridge for 1-2 days as long as I haven’t warmed it or fed her directly from the container.

We do puréed fruit and veggies. I just buy 3-5 piece of each thing and steam them in our instant pot. Once they’re done I use our immersion blender to purée them. I do have to mix if fruit puréed with oatmeal right before feeding to help thicken up the consistency
