So I have pcos and I don’t have regular cycles. I’m sick to death of having to go back and forth to the obgyn for them to just go on and on and on about how I need to have weight loss surgery. Even though I’m working my ass off eating healthy and working out. I’ve lost a little over 60 pounds just on my own I honestly DO NOT need the surgery I’m fully capable of doing it on my own. And here’s the kicker! IM NOT EVEN THAT BIG!!!!!! Like fr fr!!!!! MY DAMN TITTIES IS THE BIGGEST THING I HAVE ON ME!!!! So my question is....... Is there anything you would recommend taking to help us conceive???

If they keep telling you to lose weight as if that's the answer to all of your problems, I would find a new gyn if you are able. Ask them if they have treated patients with PCOS and TTC. Losing weight helps some but it's not the solution for many cases.

I have PCOs too ! I had irregular cycles and wasn’t ovulating. Metformin is a miracle drug for me. It regulated my cycle, helped me ovulate an also get pregnant. Please see a reproductive endocrinologist they will properly guide you.

Ughh it sucks. I had the surgery and have lost over 100 pounds and still no baby. With PCOS we just never know when it will happen. I basically have vaginal bleeding everyday, so I never know when have my actual period. If you are losing weight on your own and are eating healthy I think you are doing fine. Everything else is in Gods hands. Good luck to you.

Diagnosed with PCOS for 15 years. Friend also has it. She got pregnant uaing Femara / Letrozole. I was on it for a year with no luck. Stopped those meds and did keto. After 4 months on keto we got our positive. I was also on metformin through it all and am insulin resistant. For PCOS my nutrionist did advocate a low carb diet to help with the symptoms. Keto was just the one I could stick with since I didn't feel like I was starving on it.
