Pregnancy+belly button piercing?

Hey! I’m really considering getting a belly button piercing. But everyone keeps scaring me say if I get pregnant it’ll leave a terrible scar and be horrible. Does anyone have experience with this? Stories or even pics showing how it affected you? Thank youuu!

I didn’t take off my belly ring until I was 20-25 weeks and look at my ugly scar :) I’m currently 32weeks 5 days pregnant

Huh. I have nany piercings and have never heard that about a belly button piercing. Most piercings leave behind tiny scars once you take them out (most hardly noticable). Get the piercing girl!

I was able to keep my piercing in throughout my whole pregnancy. I think it varies by body shape, how the baby carries, etc, but there are options.

Most people I know that have taken their piercing out for whatever reason say the belly ring leaves a weird scar -pregnancy or not- I’ve had mine done for 8 years? I don’t really care if it scars though. You can get pregnancy rings to wear while pregnant though so you don’t need to take it out.
