Extreme pain during and after sex?!

My boyfriend and I are very sexually active and have been togeher for over a year now. We hadn't had sex for a little over a week and just a few days ago did it for the first time since then. After sex my whole entire valine was on fire! My clit, everything. And it's been itching so bad and it's all so raw and sore. We've done it a couple times since then and I just push through the pain (I know it's not smart) but the burning and itching is worrying me. I'm hoping I just got a little dried out and got tons of micro abrasions. But anyone know what it could be? Or experience that yourself?
