Husband going to rehab
My husband and I have been together 4 years, married 1. When we met he smoked cigarettes and a lot of weed. He was able to stop smoking within a year..vape to nothing. Pot took a little bit longer, I just hated how our house smelled (I am 420 friendly but don’t partake), I’m ok with occasional use.
Then there’s alcohol. I had an inkling there was an issue. He didn’t hide the empty vodka bottles, they are always under our kitchen sink. I only remember him being *off* twice coming home from work, and in my gut I was like he’s drunk those times. I was never a nagging wife, I did voice concern over the years, and he always agreed that he was worried with the amount of empty bottles, we didn’t fight over it.
Anyways, we’ve been struggling ttc. We have been diagnosed with male infertility factor, and with other tests run looking into the cause, he found out he had a liver problem.
He told me last night he’s been going to a counselor the last two weeks and needs to go to rehab. I am so proud of him for taking this step 💗
Anyone with experience in this situation? I’d love to hear from you.
