Why do I know my self worth and still settle?

Why do I know my worth and know I deserve better than my current boyfriend but I settle and still want to stay with him because of our history. I don’t want to open up to anyone new or have sex with anyone new. But I know I deserve better and I know if my dream man came along I would leave in a heartbeat. But I can’t seem to leave now. Any help or advice ladies?

When something better comes along, you’ll leave in a heartbeat.
There’s a slight chance though, that this is as good as it gets. So until that dude comes..... might as well stick around for a sense of companionship. 🤷‍♀️

Because you don’t 100% love yourself.  Go do that first, then be in a relationship.
