9 week ultrasound?

What kind do they do at 9 weeks? Is it still transvaginal? I can’t remember lol

My first US was at 8+4 and it was abdominal! No problems finding Baby!

I had an abdominal scan at exactly 9 weeks. I’m not a small woman either. They had me prepare in case they couldn’t see anything abdominally but we didn’t have to.

In my first pregnancy I only had abdominal ultrasounds. It probably just depends on Dr./circumstances/preference

Yup indeed. They still do at 10 too. Haven’t made it to 12 yet. 
Honestly it’s not bad. I’ve had more than I can count at this point because of previous miscarriages. What they use is basically the size of a super tampon with a little ball at the top. No biggie.

12 weeks is when you graduate to external ultrasounds. Lol
