Weird question: Hypothetically, let’s say you or your spouse are having financial trouble for reasons outside of your control (illness, sudden unemployment, a run of bad luck, etc.)....

You have a sibling that, unbeknownst to you, is very financially secure... you know they live comfortably but wouldn’t know what kind of money exactly that they have or make. They have the means to ease your financial situation by giving you a large sum of money.
