Coconut oil makes an incredible diaper barrier instead of any other thick creams or powders. Seriously the most amazing thing, plus it's great on sore nipples from breastfeeding, dry skin, cradle cap, coconut oil is incredible.
Clip babies nails while you are nursing or feeding, it's easier to do it when they're distracted by their favorite thing. Invest in the nail clippers with a light, seriously so cool and helpful.
Do not put socks or hats on your baby to sleep, they use their heads and feet to regulate temperature and you can make them really sick by sleeping with hats or socks!
You can swaddle your baby tighter than you think you can, have a nurse show you, they love a little squeeze! They just spent your whole third trimester being squeezed, it's soothing!
HOLD YOUR BABY, you can NOT, I repeat, CAN NOT spoil a baby. They need your cuddles, smell and closeness, just hold them and love them. Soon they will be 2 and you may have to bribe them for cuddles 😬😉

Love to Dream Swaddle Up 50/50 is great for babies who don't like their hands pinned. This version has "wings" that zip off when they can roll over so they can continue to use it. They have other styles as well, but I haven't used those. This one has been a life saver since my son hit a sleep regression!!
