I’m so upset. I was having such a good week and feeling confident within myself despite the fact that I’ve gained weight recently and I’m already a chubby girl. Anyways a customer came into work and we were speaking (keep in mind this lady is extremely short and morbidly obese to the point where she can barely walk) despite that i have ALWAYS been very nice to this lady and helped her a lot. Anyways half way thru I notice her looking at my stomach to which she then says ‘ you’ve gained weight yeh’ and I couldn’t believe she said that .. I just said yeh I have etc etc but now I’m thinking why didn’t I say something to her ?? How dare she say that to me . Its none of her business shes not family or a friend to tell me something like that. Shes ruined my whole day I’m so upset and couldn’t stop crying . Words HURT more than anything . She’s coming back tomorrow so what should I do ?
