Eye Goop?

Is it normal to have a bunch of junk in his eyes? His eye is not red... so I don’t think it’s pink eye. He’s 3 weeks.

My daughter had this as well. Blocked tear duct. I did what CMA said. Also, I put a few drops of breast milk in the corners of her eyes. That helped too.

Place a few drops of breast milk on the eye. Leave it on for 30 min then with soak a cotton ball with warm water and wipe it off. Repeat if it happens again

My daughter had this. I’ll attach a photo when it was at its worst. The doctor ordered antibiotic eye drops for her. Gentamicin to be exact and bad me use them 4 times a day for a week and her eye is all better now. I hope this helps!

Theres nothing the dr can do unless they are months old and it continues. its a blocked tear duct and its so common. my 1 month old has it, just massage the corner of their eyes next to their the nose and put a warm rag on them.

Could be a clogged tear duct. Get a wash cloth with warm water to wipe gunk away and then with a clean part of the warm wash cloth, massage the inner corner of the eye (not the eyeball itself obviously) this is what the pediatrician told me to do with my first. Hard to show you what part to massage without being in person lol I hope this makes sense
