At 3 months a baby’s digestive system just isn’t ready for anything other than breastmilk (or formula). 
Feeding every 2.5 hours is normal for this age, plus if she weighs that much I would take it as a sign your breastmilk is giving her everything she needs. 
My son weighs the same, if not more, and I have no intention of starting solids until 6+ months.

Same, my baby wants to be fed every two hours (he’s 3 months).. only exception at night, he’ll sleep 4-6 hours.. but after that, it’s back to every two hours for the rest of morning and that day.

Yes, too early. If your having trouble breastfeeding that often, it might be time to try formula, not baby food.

Weaning isn't recommended till 6 months old, every 2 and a half hours seems normal to me, my boy is 3 months next week and feeds every 2 hours
