Don't do it unless you check with your doctor! It can be unsafe if not prescribed as it is a blood thinner. It is usually prescribed for people with blood disorders or inflammation of the uterus. I know a couple people who lost their pregnancy due to taking it as it was not safe for them. It could be safe for you but only your doctor would know. Also, it can be unsafe to be taking it every day and stop cold turkey.

I have to take it for mitral valve prolapse but under my OB’s instruction, I did not take it while pregnant.
