Question about gender in ultrasounds

I had a dating scan at 18 weeks and the baby was facing toward us so we got a head on view. The doc was showing the legs and at the end of torso where the genitals would be I saw 3 lines clear as day. I know it wasn't a potty shot so it's not as easy to see but is it possible to see the gender in that position?

I Will 100% wait to make sure at my anatomy scan but I'm just curious if I saw the correct three lines. The pic my doc gave me was only of the head and feet poking out so it's not helpful but I will post it so you can see how on the baby was positioned. Doc refused to tell me gender.
