What did you swear by in your hospital bag?

What did you pack or wish you packed in your hospital bag that you found to be extremely useful?

An extension cord for my charger and my own big fluffy bath towel

Boppy for breastfeeding and toiletries because I didn’t feel great until after I showered

Hand lotion...so dry in there!!! My own jammies and robe.  Hair ties.  Usual personal items

Dermoplast spray and Depends underwear and CHAPSTICK! Honestly I didn’t pack much in my hospital bag, they provided pretty much everything I needed. I really just packed as if I was going to spend the night somewhere.

Nursing pillow is a great one. I would have packed my breast pump and a few sterilized bottles (which I will be doing this time), as I struggled breastfeeding, but I still wanted her to have colostrum/breast milk for as long as possible. I would have also packed way more snacks for my husband.

Extra hair ties, those soft big headbands (helped so much keeping my sweaty hair out of my face), snacks, the baby book for foot prints, nipple balm for breastfeeding and the cooling gel pads (those were life savers). I also found these amazing soft plain black pajama pants with pockets at target to go home in, and the net diaper things they had didnt fit me right so the depends diapers were better.
