and what are the signs that your baby is getting ready to hold their bottle on their own because my baby almost always puts one hand on her bottle.

Haha never. He didn’t want to hold his bottle and he didn’t want me to do anything but watch him while he was eating. I loved it.

My boys never took bottles, but my first started holding his sippy cup of water at six months.

Around 6 months we leaned him back in his high chair a bit and showed him how to hold it (put his hands up to it and took our hands away). He did better leaned back a little since tipping his head back and holding it was tough. He’s almost 8.5 months now and always holds it himself unless he is super tired. He also throws it though too...so that’s fun haha.
