Progression lines don’t determine anything except ur pregnant. Even with ectopic, tests get darker/lighter all the time 
Only hcg with an ultrasound can determine a viable pregnancy. 
Get ur hcg tested multiple times (every two days) to determine that

I equate darker lines with progression in pregnancy. I had a MC where my lines got lighter, so darker lines to me us a good thing. Good luck on your journey.
