Ovulated 5-6 days early

Hi i had my period on time but it was different it was light and the blood was dark brown the first day the second day it was light and it lasted 2 days total.. it is normally 3 days with normal flow.. i took an ovulation test and it came back positive but it is 5 yo 6 days early. Any thoughts?
