I currently have an 18 month old baby girl, who we are trying to get to talk more. However I still can’t seem to communicate with her. She does respond very well in a sense if you ask her to bring something to you, or ask her where something is she knows what to do. (Ex. Where’s your nose, bring me your shoes, go hug your sister) She knows how to respond to those directions. I still can’t get her to say hi, she waves but doesn’t say the word. (But when she pretends to be on the phone she always says hello!) I also can’t get her to say yes or no, not even the nodding part. My baby girls does say other words like mama, dada, papa, sister, dog, shoe, go, three, wawa, please, thanks.

As a mother of two I tend to compare them. My oldest was always on point with milestones if not ahead, so this tends to weigh on me on how I can get my littles to communicate with me a little better. Or to attempt to get her to at least answer me, she does babble throughout the day but of course it’s all baby talk. Are any of you moms going through the same thing, or can maybe relate. Do any of you moms have any suggestions.
