REALLY dark period blood pad picture

So I’ve been on BC since I was 19 I’m now turning 23 - my period started looking like this about a year and a half in. I asked my doctor and he said it was okay - my question ladies if anyone has experienced this before????.

I usually bleed for about 7 days, sometimes it is bright red and stringy when I wipe.

I read it’s normal! It’s just really really really old blood and your body is just getting rid of it. Honestly I would worry, but if you seem worried don’t be afraid to reach out to someone else if you don’t think you doctor is giving you the right info you want or need. Good luck 👍

It’s probably old blood clot that comes out. If your doctor isn’t concerned I wouldn’t worry until something happens out of the normal like pain or something like that

I have before, maybe the 2nd day. My periods are usually 3-4 days. I was on the depo
