Alcoholic

Hi everyone so I really need some advice

My boyfriend and I been together 4 months now and I really really care about him and I can see what an amazing person that he could be but he has a big drink problem and he used to have a drug problem his off the drugs now and he Reckons he’s cut down on the alcohol a lot because he was much worse before

I really care soo much about him and I won’t to believe him when he says that his going to stop drinking especially because his new job doesn’t allow it

But idk if he will or if he does will it just start agin when his not working

Really don’t know what to do everyone around me is telling me to leave and run but I love him!!!! Wtf do I do
