Work while pregnant is it worth it ?

So my other half works and my son goes to nursery, I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I really want to get a part time job. My mother in law says it not worth it as I will have to go on maternity leave soon. I just feel like I'm doing nothing and want to bring some extra cash in. I've been looking at receptionist jobs etc is it worth it?

I am 7 weeks pregnant with twins, and I would KILL to quit my job.  I desperately need to be home resting and taking care of myself, and instead am constantly on the go 7am-6pm (at least) at an extremely stressful job.  I feel like it's not good for my health or my babies, but I can't afford to quit especially with 2 babies on the way.  I need the insurance my work provides to pay for my maternity care.  I cried at my desk for 2 hours today while I worked.  I'm so miserably unhappy.  😥

Maybe do some temp work? Otherwise it is hard to find someone who wants an employee for 10 weeks

Omg girl I feel the same exact way. I'm 26 and recently moved so I've had no job in over a month. I'm a registered nurse so no hospital will hire me and it just sucks not doing anything. I'm going creZy and it's making me depressed since I love what I do as a nurse
