Do I need one? Has anyone bought one?

I wasn't going to bother but then had a thought about what to do with nappies if change the baby upstairs, I'm not going to all the way downstairs to put the nappy in the bin then come up again.

They not needed really I have a bathroom bin upstairs and use nappy bags, so they contain the smell (not that newborn actually make that much poop to smell more when they on solids it’s smells bad) and empty it each morning I come downstairs..

I've got the tommee tippee one, used it until my first was about 9months and now using it for my second. However I'm just using normal bin bags in the cartridges rather than pay for the realy thing.

I think that they're a waste of money personally, but evryone is each to their own. I'd rather bag it up and pop it in the outdoor bin than let them collect in an upstairs bin. Obviously can see the perks of the night change though! 😊 X

I’ve got a little bin upstairs and one downstairs for nappies (normal small plastic bins not specifically nappy ones)

We brought one in a Black Friday deal so only paid £7, I didn’t think we would use it but we actually use it all the time! No smells or anything. I’d onlyBuy one again if there was one on offer. If not a bog standard bin would probably do the same!

Amazon have a Tomme tippe one for £5. We got an Angelcare one which wraps every few nappies rather than every single one!

A friend recommended that we get one. Tommer Tippie currently on offer in a number of supermarkets for about £10. 3 refills for £9.99 on Aldi.

It's one of those items that people think are either a total waste of time, or an absolute necessesity! I have one and think of it as an absolute god send. After a c section I'm not going to want to be carting things up and down, and the cartridges stop all the smells. I think it stores like 10 or so in there, so hubby can empty it once a day or what have you until I'm back on my feet and I don't have to worry about a thing. They're like a tenner on amazon
