There is so much soapy water in my new laundry washing maschine. I didn't overload it, only to the half?? Is this normal?

That looks fine. It probably looks like a lot because you dont usually look at it if you've had a top loading one with no window

I have a Samsung one that is a “smart sensing” machine apparently and this happens all the time. It’ll be fine.

If it’s one of those sensory ones. That choses the water level for you. You need a lot less soap. Because it doesn’t use as much water. So it won’t rinse it out good.

That’s normal, but it should all go away by the end. If it doesn’t then it’s not draining properly
