Hypothyroidism and the vegan lifestyle

Hey girls! So as the recent poll suggests I am one of those people that wants to become Vegan/gluten-free/dairy free for health reasons which means that this is a lifestyle change for me. I have Hypothyroidism which is when your thyroid produces less hormone to the body and causes a variety of health issues. For me I gained 70 pounds, had super irregular periods, major anxiety, extreme fatigue (I would sleep literally 13 hours a day) and depression. Fighting this has been so hard for me and I want to change that with my diet. I’m new to this and I wanted to get some tips from you guys on things you wouldn’t normally think about when starting to become vegan. If any supplements or vitamins I should use or what foods to eat that is high in iodine and no starch 🥺
