How to get baby back to sleep without breast?
My LO is 14 weeks (3 months) and doesn’t sleep well. She constantly squirms and wakes and will scream bloody murder and fidget until she’s given the boob. It’s for comfort and seldom for food. If she’s suckling and a let down occurs, she’ll eat, but it’s almost always just to pacify. I’m hoping to get back to work soon and start time is 6 AM. I need more sleep than what I’m getting with her constantly waking and not being able to settle herself back down. I don’t mind comforting her with the breast at all, so I don’t want any hate in that department. I know she’s still so young. I just need a little less wake time and little more sleep for the both of us. How can I teach self soothing early on?
I will add she refuses a pacifier of any kind.
