Can OPK’s detect pregnancy?

Yesterday and today I’ve had very positive OPK’s and they were on CD 19 and 20. My cycles have been around 30 days or so. I did have a miscarriage in December so I’m not sure if it messed up my cycle much as this is my first month trying OPK’s and I did get a positive on CD 9 and CD 11... Not sure what to think.

Not always...some people also get a positive opk before af. I've seen some get positive opks and positive hcg but I've also seen some with neg opks and positive hcg. They aren't designed to test for pregnancy so they aren't a reliable way to tell.

When I found out I was pregnant, I took an OPK and it wasn’t positive but my pregnancy test was. But to be completely honest you may actually have had your positive on CD 20. (Then ovulation 12-36 hours later, of course) my cycles always ranged from 33-38 days and I’ve had positives as early as cycle day 18 and as late as cycle day 26 it really just depends on your body :) good luck and baby dust.
