Do y’all believe gender disappointment is a thing? My husband and I are TTC and we both want a little girl honestly we’d be BLESSED with a boy OR girl but I’m afraid when we do conceive of it’s a boy he won’t be as involved.

For my first I didn’t care what sex the baby it was. I was happy when I found out I was having a boy. With my second I wanted a girl and found out i was having my second son. Then my ex decided being a father of two was too hard and left. Years passed by and I met someone new. We got pregnant and I was hoping for a girl but found out it was another boy. I was still super excited. We got married and years later we decided to have another baby... all I was hoping for was a girl. I found out baby was a boy and I was so devastated. Cried and pouted for a week or two. I slowly got over it and came to the conclusion I will be the only female in the home. I lost my baby boy at 20 weeks. I regret being sad about having another boy. I’m trying for my rainbow baby now and idc if it’s a boy or a girl. I just want a healthy full term baby.

It took us 5 very long stressful emotional years to finally get pregnant! So I didn’t care what we were having at this point. But my husband wanted a girl sooooo bad! He even told me and a few people “I’m not going to fake happy if we find out it’s a boy” oh let me tell you when we opened the box and Blue balloons came out my husband did not lie lol he was very upset. That was at 16weeks. Here we are at 34weeks and our little man is due no more then 5 and my husband is soooo excited now!

Me and my fiancé wanted a baby girl SOO BAD like my heart was set😍 but when I went to an ultrasound tech to get a gender reveal at 15+2 weeks it was a little boy! No denying it she said. I wanted to tear up (with joy) I was honestly shocked and so happy. Just finally knowing what my baby was made my world go around! So I think it’s a mental thing, like in people’s head when they really consider getting an abortion when they don’t get the gender they want. Just know each gender is a blessing 🥰
