Tantrums?

Has anyone experienced tantrums yet? Mine just last week started expressing himself when he doesn’t get his way. He kicks (or pushes with his feet) and bounces and fusses. He collapses into a ball and pushes himself with his legs. Sometimes I just leave him alone because like... I can’t let you eat that napkin, buddy 🤷🏽‍♀️ but sometimes I feel bad like I should help calm him down but I don’t want to spoil him.

Mine started tantrums at 11 months. She screams bloody murder if I take things shes shouldn't have away. I just pick her up and taker her to a different room with me, that usually helps. I also sing and dance with her around the room and she forgets about it. Lets see how long that works for.

My son has had them since 9 months... and everytime I say something about them I get from the more seasoned moms just wait till he’s 2...

Lol I know this may not be right but I find it hilarious 😂 like this little tiny human being who isn’t even 1 yet (turns 1 in 10 days) is throwing a tantrum lol. I joke about her skipping right into her terrible 2s

Mine does. I just breastfeed and he stops instantly. Not sure if that’s right technically or not but whatever works I’ll do it. He can scream like a bloody banshee lol

Yes! I am not ready. What happened to my sweet and placid baby? Ok, he was never placid, but it is certainly a struggle trying to teach him to manage his emotions or let us know what is wrong when he cannot speak.

Yes! Think I am experiencing the terrible 2s at 1 lol. She only does it at home.with us tho and usually its because she wants to be held

Yes. Last night she carefully laid herself down on the floor and then started crying and kicking her feet (I’m not sure what prompted this tantrum). I said “okay, you can throw that fit or you can follow mama upstairs for bath time.” Then I started walking away. As soon as I left the room she stood up and followed me 🤦🏼‍♀️.
