Are UGGS worth it? Quality wise? HELP🦄

I was NEVER a fan of UGG but something came over me and I really wanted a Bailey Bow and I ordered these:

Same color same bows and everything and they are so warm. They cost 190$ which isn’t cheap bec I ordered Hunter Rain boots and another pair of shoes at the same time.
Im really wondering if they are worth the money bc my friend told me hers got ruined in the rain within 6 months and that she couldnt get them to look normal again.
Please help a broke shopaholic out

If you don’t treat them for weather and wear them in rain and snow they’ll get ruined. They’re not waterproof. But if you take care of them they’re fine.

Definitely not. They’re ugly and I got literally the same pair at Walmart that lasted me the same amount of time if you treat them with the same care 🤷🏽‍♀️

Had mine 5 years now, I’ll need to replace them for next winter season. 
They aren’t waterproof in general but if you keep out of puddles you’ll be fine

I read they torture the animals to get the fur. I’m not sure something like they scalp the animal ??? For that reason I can’t see why the rain would ruin them considering they are animal fur still on the skin. I wonder if your friends were true Ugg’s or a knock off she got ripped off for.

I have had mine for 8 years and they still look brand new. You just have to take care of them! I love mine.

I loved mine, they were super comfortable! I had them for about two years, up until I  managed to get a hole on one side..the upkeep was also annoying & every little piece of mud or salt would leave a stain🤦🏼‍♀️.. I’ll probably repurchase again, but just take better care of them. I recommend not wearing them in the rain, or during the winter time when there’s a lot of salt on the roads, if you live in Canada.

I just don’t wear them in pouring rain, but the rain usually doesn’t do anything to the leather. Yes they’re worth it had them for 3 years now:) same exact style as picture only mine are beige
