How can I TTC with irregular Flow!?!

I have a 1 year old Son who is breastfeeding 🤱🏻 so I just got my first postpartum AF Just recently (last week of December). I got so excited! Fertility Returned, I can TTC for Baby#2!! Well, I started my charting and programmed it for a 28 day cycle (that’s what I used to run) and my husband and I started Baby dancing 😉

Here it is February 10th and No AF..... I’ve taken several PT and all negative..

I’ve read that AF can be really irregular when they do return if you are still BF. And I am BF my son 3 times a day still. I’ve been Baby dancing like crazy and also I have had several signs of ovulation but at random times throughout the last month. (Cramping and EWCM)

Bottom line is I have No idea what my body is doing which makes me frustrated bc my husband and I really want our children close together in age. I guess I should stop stressing it, but has anyone else had this happen? How long does it take for your Flow to return to a normal cycle? Thanks Ladies!! Much love and Baby Dust to all!!!
