Pram shopping is officially 🤯

Claire

Think I’ve whittled it down to a choice of three...

Sliver cross pioneer - but bulky but I love the way it looks

Egg stroller - way more light and smaller when folded, great you can make it a double for later down the line

Oyster - seems a cheaper alternative but a bit more stylish

Any help welcome!

Lots of love from a confused 1st time mum who hasn’t a clue!

I've got an Icandy. I'm so happy with it. I'm not the biggest person in the world or the strongest. It's do easy to move around and fold down and up. I'm nearly 37 weeks and can't wait to use it!!!

Choosing my pram is the one thing I’ve wanted to do since I was little! I’m so fussy, I’m currently 36 weeks patiently waiting to use my pram! We went for the mothercare journey edit in alloy! It’s beautiful! 😍 such value for money & it’s so light and has lots of suspension. It looks much more expensive than it actually is x

Yeah, I went in mothercare to look at the silvercross wave which I was adamant that was the one I wanted, after “test driving” it was so heavy to push so looked at the journey edit and made my mind up there and then 😁 does always pay to shop around, it was more than half price the one I got to the one I wanted x

I went for a mothercare orb after seeing the demo video online it's funny because I never even looked at it in the shop was straight over to the more expensive ones that didn't really impress me for the price lol

I had a quinny buzz for my daughter but this time I bought a mothercare orb and it's fantastic plus everything comes with it that you need apart from the carseat as I found alot of the more high end prams everything is an extra which is really annoying

We looked at the egg, but it was so small 😩 don’t think it would have a lot of life in it. Also it was so expensive for a make no one had heard of!I ended up with the Bugaboo Chameleon as the quality is great and it handles amazingly. Also found a great deal on here ....https://www.baby2k.com/store/bugaboo/bugaboo-cameleon3-plusCheapest I found and great service 👍🏻

When you buy the pram there are various drop downs to select the material cover and then add the freebies 👍🏻

Plus you get some free items when you order with baby2K. We got a sheepskin seat cover, rain cover and a hand muff for me 👍🏻

Go for practicality, you will be lugging it in and out of the car and house every day!

I had a Mothercare one for my daughter almost 5 years ago and now I have a silver cross pursuit for my son. I love it but it's a bit heavy and I struggle to get it up the gutters and my son has also already outgrown his car seat and he's only 8 months!! The I much prefer my mothercare one I had for my daughter and it was £500 cheaper!! My silver cross also I had to send it back because the brake broke after only 5 months

I know I fell in love with how it looked and don't get me wrong I love it but the mothercare one was more value for money x

That’s interesting. Have to admit they sound common problems with silver cross when you read the reviews - definitely making me think twice even tho it’s so pretty

I’m thinking of getting the egg but I’m interested in seeing what others preferred!

I have the egg, and it’s by far the best pram I have had, really smooth to push and baby gets a lot of protection in the carry cot!! X

Me too. It’s so difficult isn’t it x

I’ve got the silver cross pioneer as it was recommended by most of my friends. I loved the Egg but it was way too pricey...

That’s good to know. Did you find it bulky/heavy?

I have the silver cross pioneer. I’m a FTM and my baby isn’t born yet so I haven’t actually used it but I really like it when I ‘test drove’ it. I also have a lot of friends that have this one and they all love it

Thank you - still getting drawn to it . Taking my mum next time for a less emotional view point ha ha it’s just so nice looking 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have the Brompton one! It does seem like it’s a bit bigger when folded but I guess as long as you have the space in your boot etc it shouldn’t be too much of a problem

That’s good then - I did too. Mh only concern is how big it is when folded compared to some others 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s defo my fave looking tho. If I got it I’d go for the exclusive to mothercare Brompton one I think. Loved the colour!
