How far along?

I'm confused about how many weeks I am. LMP started August 7th. I think we conceived the 17th. Will Drs give the due date as 40 weeks from conception or from LMP?

Drs will do it by LMP. But may move it depending on Ultrasound measurements. My LMP was Aug 7 as well!!

Yeah doctors will go from LMP, if you track you can give them your ovulation date if you know it and the average length of your cycle because those all need to be factored in if you know them. If not they will use the standard 28 day cycle with ovulation on the 14th day. The most accurate way to get your due date is a sonogram between 8-12 weeks, and they might adjust your due date by that. Hope this helped.

Last time I was pregnant they did it based on lmp then every single ultrasound it was updated. Gets confusing. They should know for sure by your 12w ultrasound. I know mine last pregnancy had me measured at 6 weeks then at my 8 wk ultrasound they said actually 7 weeks then at my 9 weeks scan they said 12 weeks!
