Weird but maybe not alarming if they didn’t sound super urgent? Did he tell you to go to an actual specialist? Internists can also just be regular care doctors.

So they didn’t give you the results of your bloodwork and told you they want you to see another dr? Is that what I’m getting from that? Sorry just wanna be clear before I answer! 
If so then that’s not normal. At least nothing I’ve experienced.

Do they have an online portal that you can look at? My dr offices have always had me set up with one for the most part. Or I would call again and ask for the results. Don’t panic I would think if it was major they would have called you to inform you.
