88 cent tests reliable??

I keep buying the super cheapie Equate One Step tests because, well, 88 cents! This month I am SO SURE I'm pregnant. I mean, every symptom on the list and then some. So I tried one of my cheapies after missing my period two days ago. Big ol negative! I know not all tests are the same but cheap doesn't always mean bad.

Are these truth worthy for early testing? I've used dollar store tests as early at 3w5d and got a positive. Is Walmart as good or should I try old reliable or maybe even something more expensive instead? I'm going crazy over here! lol

Edit to add: Maybe it's just me 😅 Fingers crossed I'm just testing too early!
