Can I test soon??

Okay y’all, I need advice. I never got a January period (pretty sure I missed my ovulation that month) but I got a positive OPK on Sunday Feb 3rd. Would testing the 14th (about 10 DPO) be too early to get any kind of result? I would really like to surprise my husband for Valentine’s Day if I’m pregnant.
