Anyone else get ear problems while pregnant?

I’ve never had ear problems before but at the beginning of my pregnancy I noticed I was having to clean my ears more often and was producing a lot more wax than usual. For the past few days my left ear is so muffled like it’s clogged almost and i get this constant annoying ringing sound like when you hold a shell up to your ear, I’ve tried peroxide, a hot compress, and flushing my ear out with hot water and nothing is working. Maybe I need a wax extraction? Can my family doctor do that or do I have to find an ENT???

I had this the last few weeks of my pregnancy, I tried EVERYTHING and nothing worked! I even tried having the doctor get it unplugged. It went away after my son was born.

Your body produces everything twice as fast when yourepregnant. That’s why your hair is growing super fast, also plaque, that’s what you’re supposed to go more often for teeth cleanings! It sucks!

I had an ear infection early on in my pregnancy which is unusual for me and now with only three weeks left im experiencing issues again. I hear a lot of women experience things like this during pregnancy. Definitely let your doctor know in case you need an antibiotic like I did.

This happened my last pregnancy and it didn't go away until after I had my daughter. It was seriously the absolute worst since I have what my SO calls "super sonic hearing." I don't think this makes a difference but got pregnant in December and had my little lady in July (9 weeks early due to severe preeclampsia which had nothing to do with my ears).
