When is best to check your pregnant

I had sex on the 5th of February and just wondered when they right time was to check? And if so what test is good to use ?

Wait till you’re period is late, if it even is

Did you ovulate on the 5th or just had sex? If you ovulated I’d wait at least 10dpo but you can always test sooner. If it’s a negative don’t get upset as you just may not of implanted yet.

Really you should wait until you miss a period, but if you’re impatient, you can test anytime after 10dpo but don’t expect a positive as only 10% of women get a positive by 10dpo. 13dpo is the average for a positive.
