Baby cant hold paci in her mouth by herself?

At first i thought her mouth was too small but now im thinking she may have a lip tie. Not just because she cant hold the binki there are a lot of other symptoms but would a lip tie make her not be able to suck on a binki by herself? It gets tiring having to hold it all the time

Don’t know about lip tie, but some babies just don’t take them and keep pushing them out with their tongue.

My baby is 7 weeks and just now keeps it in regularly. I don’t have to keep placing it back in as much....but now she grabs it and pulls it out 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

My lactation consultant said that’s normal. A lot of babies can’t this young bc their reflex is to thrust it out bc that’s the motion they do to nurse. She told me to just keep trying and helping her until she gets it.
If there are other things going on though it doesn’t hurt to check for ties, my daughter was checked and doesn’t have any.

I tried 3 different types before My son finally took one. Maybe try a different brand

Have you tried a different type of paci? Maybe the one you’re using is harder for her to suck on.
