Baby flipped will it be a c section now?

Question

I’m 35 weeks today and baby girl has been head down this entire time, UNTIL today we went to our ultrasound and she is now breeched. Dr said we will keep an eye on it since I’m doing weekly ultra sounds anyway and hopefully she flips back. He said we won’t make a decision until 37 weeks.
Who has had a baby that was breeched this late that flipped back to head down? Or should I mentally be preparing that I’ll have a c section ?

I think there's still time, but there's no harm in preparing yourself too. I have been researching c sections for a couple weeks now just because I'm being induced and that can increase the chances of needing one. I didn't want to get there and have it sprung on me suddenly since my last induction was vaginal birth.

My second didn’t flip until 36-37 weeks. I looked up all the yoga positions and any trick I could do and got to work! I also scheduled a chirp appt which I didn’t have to keep. Do what you can, and either way, at least you’ll know you tried. Good luck!!
