Help! Baby clothes

Hello!

Just had a friend shower yesterday. We don’t know the gender so we didn’t get a lot of clothes. Which is perfectly fine! Unisex clothes are hard!

However, now I have to buy clothes for the wee one. I am being induced March 15th :)

My questions are:

How many outfits do you think I’ll need at first? And mostly all sleepers? I’m having a shower a month after the baby with family so I know I’ll get clothes, just have to get through a month!

What size!? Newborn or 0-3 months!? Newborn says 5-8 lbs. it seems like my baby would only be in it for like a day. Is it better to go bigger and roll up sleeves?
