I’m a transguy and had to come off testosterone because I’m going into the military. For a while, I didn’t never wanted biological kids so being on T causing me to be infertile was perfect for me but coming off of it(i am going to go back on it), I thought I’d be fertile again when in reality, I went to the hospital yesterday with intense pain and turns out I have an ovarian cyst and hydrosalpinx. I told this to my family and they all said “It’s a good thing you don’t want kids.” My mother then proceeded to tell me that this shouldn’t be surprising news considering I’ve always had problems with fertility which I didn’t know. I’m not infertile completely but it sucks that I’m going to have trouble having children if I did want to have them. I just want to know why I’m having such problems with fertility when no one else in my family had problems with fertility. Am I just the odd one out..?
