Have you started baby food?

My little EmmyLou is 5mos 1week we haven't started foods yet only breast milk.....

I'm planning to follow updated recommendations which suggest not starting until six months like I did with my first. My September baby is just on breastmilk right now. I don't do cereals and just start with soft BLW foods.

My baby is 5 months 8 days and we just started oatmeal cereal mixed with her formula yesterday. Although it didn’t go very well we will continue to keep trying.

4.5 months just tried cereal this week.  At 4 month appointment dr said we could try cereal because he was a little lower on weight she wasn’t concerned about his weight but she said it was something we could try.

We have started puréed veg as Ted is really interested he’s also sitting very well, we are only just trying the different flavours and only a few spoonfuls but it’s just to help him get the hang of moving a thicker substance around his mouth, Ted is 5 months old, I have 4 daughters who were all eating 3 meals a day as weaning 16 years ago was from 4 months.
