When should i throw a party?

My daughters first birthday will be December 23 ♥️ when would be a good time to throw her a party? I was thinking before her birthday but then when it’s her actual birthday that won’t be too much fun. Then i was thinking after Christmas but i feel like everyone will be getting back to the swing of things after Christmas and a lot won’t show up! Looking for other inputs 😬

My daughter bday is Dec 22. Run into the problem of people being gone for the holidays or busy all the time. Usually either do it a week or so in advance or first thing in Jan. On her actual bday we just try to a small family thing so she still gets to enjoy it. Not so big of a deal when they smaller because they don’t know any better though lol.

I would say have her party that Saturday before, which is the 21st i believe, and then have a little get together with close family and friends on her actual birthday ☺️
