Is anyone else petrified of labor and delivery?

Its really not that bad. 
I was induced with my first and it definitely wasn’t a pleasant experienced and i would never do an elective induction but the end product is worth it. 
Second time was all natural and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Super fast labor and smooth recovery. No tearing with either one. 
Hoping for another natural birth with this little one. 
I think we work ourselves up and we overestimate how bad its going to be. Just try to relax, enjoy your pregnancy and remember that odds are in your favor that things will go perfectly fine!

Been there, done that... twice. But yeah, I’m still a little scared. I just want everything to go perfectly.

It’s not that bad. I was induced with my first and it was pretty easy until my kid got stuck and I had to have a c section. If I would have gone the normal way the whole way I would have like 10 more kids 😂 Even with having another c section this time I’m like whatever it’s not that bad. It’s basically one day of pain and it’s all forgotten when your kid gets there 😊

I was induced with my first but had no epidural! It was a 7 hour labor and a ton of pain but the moment he came out I was completely fine!! I'm a little nervous for the pain again but I am 100% sure I can do it and I'm very excited!!

Baby has to come out one way or another, and I’m more terrified of a csection! 
My first I was induced; and I shouldn’t complain, it was pretty uneventful. However I’m going to do everything in my power to not be induced again.

Terrified.  I’m on baby 3 and had no painkillers with the previous 2... not by choice... I’m hoping I can get some pain killers this time... 🤞🏻

I was induced with my first and it was great. I would say I had an extremely positive experience of birth and have asked to be induced again if I get to 40 weeks. I was induced at 38+5 last time due to high maternal BP but there are other reasons for me not wanting to go overdue. I can’t wait to do it all again. You’ll rock it. 💗

This is my second and it’s not particularly the labour part I’m scared of, yeah it hurts like hell but for me I had a PPH with my first so the thought of that happening again is what’s freaking me out even though I’ll be special medication and a drip so they are prepared for it happening. 
You’ve got plenty of pain killer options to take advantage of if it gets too much just remember that 👍🏼.
