Co sleeping?

Does anyone do sleep with their newborn? My baby is having a hard time sleeping in his bassinet. But I’m scared of the risk of co sleeping. But i also heard successful stories.

Putting aside any of the SIDS variables, and rollover issues (that are possible, but let’s ignore them for a minute) 
I can tell you first hand.... it’s not worth it. It makes it so hard to get them out of your bed in the future. You sleep less in the long run and it’s not as peaceful.

I’m sure it’s super frustrating to be struggling with the bassinet, but don’t give up! Cosleeping is extremely dangerous. Maybe baby would be more comfortable in a different swaddle or with a noise machine?

My son starts out in his bassinet at night but if he wakes up and won't go back to sleep in his bassinet sometimes I do cuddle with him in the bed instead of arguing with a 2 week old. I make sure I keep him away from the pillows and blankets. I'm always very aware of where he is in the bed so I'm not worried about rolling over on him at all.

I coslept with my first with no issues, and bought a safe cosleeping bassinet for it this time as well.

My daughter is almost 2 weeks old and we bought a co sleeper a target and it works she sleeps more and so do we it’s pretty nice! I would recommend it especially because my baby didn’t like sleeping in the bassinet either maybe because it was to cold? Or she didn’t like the loneliness? I’m not sure but I would recommend co sleeping! And look up co sleeping safety as well if you’re still worried :)

It very well could be a if reflux. Try sitting with baby but letting them lay propped up. If they don’t fuss there, they might have acid rolling up while laying flat. Pretty common and can be corrected with drops from the doctor.

Co slept with both my boys, my first one transitioned very easily to his crib at a year, my second.....is 20 months old still in my bed and he is a tough one 🤦🏻‍♀️

I used this with my daughter and it worked wonders apparently this has been discontinued but I'm sure if you got something similar it would help. I still have it and plan on using it with my son if he has the same issues sleeping.
