I’m 4mo pp and just went back to work, where they have a Medela symphony hospital grade pump in the mother’s room. After having struggled with pumping, taking 45 minutes each time with my spectra S2, today I was able to pump fully by 25 minutes, and got almost 9oz instead of the usual 7 at this time.

So I highly recommend renting this instead of buying a pump if you are having any issues at all with pumping.

I want to add that it’s not a matter of higher suction. I don’t use my spectra in full suction anyway. The type of suction is better, it is smoother and deeper. It’s also less painful.
