Telling your parents?

I'm 17 and will be18 by the time the baby comes.  So I'm curious on how you told your parents u were pregnant at a young age.  I've been with the guy for ALONG time and they don't even know it ... Any suggestions?  I wanna hear your stories!!

My dad lives out of country and I've a very distant relationship with him, so he was told over an email.

My mom tends to freak out and yell at me, which triggers my panic attacks, so I decided that the easiest way for both of us, was a letter. I sat with her while she read it and gave her some time to calm down afterwards, as she asked. She was still upset, but she did not take it out on me.

Honestly there's no suggestions anyone can give you to make it any easier because you can't. I told mine separately though because my dad is the "strict" one I guess. So I told my mom in private and then she told my dad with me. You could always do something like that.
