Are early detection preg tests reliable???

I had unprotected sex about 2 weeks ago and my pill break is due tomorrow (I missed lots of pills so I’m sure I wasn’t protected) the clinic told me to wait 3 weeks but I’ve been anxious throughout the weeks and was wondering if early detection tests are reliable? What have your experiences been with them? Thank u! X

Let me know how it comes out, I’m in the same boat. I also take the pill but not like I should for it to be 100% effective. I had the lightest shortest “period”. But now afterwards I’m super sensitive/emotional, cramping, headaches, tired. Could this be pregnancy or just some PMS symptoms because I didn’t have a real period?
