Failing :-(
I can not get my 3 day old to stay awake at the breast. As soon as she lays down by my chest, she is out like a rock! I try all the tips and tricks I’ve read (getting her undressed, using a cold cloth...etc) she will stir just a bit but then she’s right back to sleep...she will work just hard enough to latch and then won’t suck. Her sucking reflex is fine and we have had a few successful sessions so I know she’s capable but I’m really stuck here.
